The former Cedarhurst of Edwardsville Senior Living Community has a new name and new management.
The facility, located at 702 Marine Road, became Edwardsville’s Addington Place on March 1 and is now operated by Jaybird Senior Living.
Senior Citizens Communities in Collinsville, Shiloh, Sparta, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Prairie Village, Kansas; and Shoal Creek (Kansas City, Missouri) are now managed by Jaybird Senior Living under the Addington Place banner.
Several other Metro East senior communities, including those in Highland, Granite City, Godfrey, Troy, and Bethalto, remain as Cedarhurst.
“Edwardsville’s Addington Place is owned by Healthcare Trust Inc. They have elected to transfer the management companies from Cedarhurst to Jaybird Senior Living,” said Dani Vance, director of sales and marketing for Jaybird Senior Living.
Vance noted that Jaybird Senior Living is excited about the opportunity to take over the Addington Place communities, including the Edwardsville location.

All staff at Addington Place in Edwardsville have been rehired.
